Our Classroom

Look at how our classroom has changed.

It’s a long time coming guys, but here are our photos from St. Patrick’s Day! From learning to make green to make our Shamrock hats to wearing them for our Easter Art, it’s all here!

Who remembers Proclamation day?? I know I do! A big thanks again to Captain Michael for making our day!

We have a new addition to our reading corner. Can the children tell you who it is? (Here’s a hint: He’s very fluffy! :P)

We made very cool masks! These were all for our Assembly! That’s right, junior and senior infants led the whole school in their first assembly of 2016. Welldone guys!

Look at how we use our phonics to write the weather in Irish!

We are excellent at group work here at St. Margaret’s NS! 5th and 6th class do paired reading with the junior and senior infants and the senior infants often help our junior infants. 🙂

Here’s pictures of what we have been learning the last couple of weeks 🙂 From music to science art and then pe on wacky day! 🙂

Did someone say Wacky Day?? Look at how cool our costumes were!

Look at our cool playtime creations! 🙂

We put a Time Capsule together with Ms. Burke and then compared our writing. Then and now, we have improved so much!

The next event is our school tour! We went to Blackwater Farm and had a ball! Stay tuned for photos 🙂

Here is just a snippet of some of our school tour pictures! More to come guys!

We have been watching the Euros 2016! Welldone to our Irish team for such a fantastic tournament! You did us proud! Our class captured some of their favourite moments through art! We also learned what COYBIG stands for! #Comeonyouboysingreen!

Look what word Eddie found when reading today! Pictures with Floppy and what he’s been getting up to still to come!
