September Newsletter

It has been lovely to see the children settling back in and enjoying school life again. We have had a very busy September and it has brought a fun-filled start to the new school year.

Below is just a snippet of what we have been getting up to!

Our New Half Zips
It was very exciting to see the children wearing the new half zips tops. We think they look amazing. The new logo looks really cool on the tops and we even made it into the local paper!

A Big Welcome to the Junior Infants!
Our new Junior Infant Students have settled in very well and we are delighted to have them join us as part of our school community. Well done guys!

RSA
The Infant Room and Third & Fourth Class received the Road Safety Authority ‘Safe Cross Code’ Pack and are looking forward to learning about road safety.

Visual Arts
Our hallways are already full with beautiful artwork that the children have been busy working on this September. We think it has really brightened up our halls.

Cricket
We were delighted to welcome back Peter and Herbie from Cricket Leinster, in conjunction with Sports Active Wexford. All of the children had a great time and we have spotted some future cricket stars in the making.

Third and Fourth class wrote recounts about the fun they had while playing cricket. Well done boys and girls!

Tennis Club
The children from sixth class were treated to a very special outing to the Tennis Club, where they got to use their tennis skills on a real tennis court. This trip is always a great day out and there was lots of fun to be had!
